February eviction numbers way down!
According to data compiled by our team from Dauphin County magistrate dockets, there were only 20 evictions filed in the first week of February which is the lowest weekly count since September!
GHTU has been active in pushing the mayor and courts to strictly enforce Harrisburg’s eviction moratorium, but we need your help! If you see a violation of the eviction moratorium, fill out the city’s landlord tenant complaint form, which we've linked to on our website.
GHTU efforts with the Mayor
The Harrisburg city eviction moratorium has been extended for another month, stopping evictions until March 15, 2021.
See Mayor Papenfuse’s livestream from February 12, 2021 talking about enforcement of the eviction moratorium and even shouting out GHTU!
