Marty's Message

Hello and welcome!
This is the 26th time I have started a new academic year at UWSP.  Each one has a unique flavor and each one brings excitement and renewed optimism for what can be accomplished.
I still remember my first day and how good it felt to be accepted by my peers and welcomed to campus 26 years ago. When I set foot on campus, I fell in love with UWSP. It was so inviting and I knew this was where I was meant to be.
Today is the first day for 14 faculty and staff who are new to CPS, so when you see a new face walking down the hallway be sure to smile and say “Hello and welcome to CPS.” That simple gesture can make a lasting impression.
Marty Loy,
Dean CP
