Marty's Message

Thank you for being patient with the construction dust and noise in the CPS Building this semester. It is not often that we would start a room remodeling project in the middle of a semester, but this is no ordinary project. Thanks to a WTI grant, room 104 is being transformed into the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technology (CCIT). It will house a technology playground of sorts with the latest in educational technologies, including lecture-capture so instructors can “flip” their classrooms, and telepresence to allow real-time distance course delivery. The first group of “Tech Select” faculty to complete projects in the new CCIT has been named and will begin in January. You can read about their projects in this week’s edition of the Monday Message
