Marty's Message

Thanksgiving is a time to let our troubles disappear–if just for a weekend–and reflect on what it is that we are thankful for. We don’t do that often enough, in my opinion, especially with those things that seem quite ordinary but really aren’t. So here are a few things in the CPS that, although they happen every day, I truly appreciate:

1. Smelling great aromas that originate in the CPS Café.

2. Walking in each morning to clean hallways and arranged rooms.

3. Attending department events.

4. Talking and interacting with students.

5. Hearing about accomplishments of faculty, staff and students; because you make it easy to brag about.

6. Coming to work at a job I love with people I enjoy.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Marty Loy,
CPS Dean
