Marty's Message

If you read all the way to the bottom of this week’s Monday Message, you will have a glimpse into the future of the UWSP College of Professional Studies.
By awarding program and course development grants to six faculty members, CPS will add four online or hybrid courses used to reach students living in communities outside of Stevens Point such as Wausau, Merrill and Rhinelander, make a first of its kind certificate program in health and wellness coaching available to a national audience, and meet a professional need in cleft palate training.
Over the past five years, CPS has supported 75 grants totaling $236,000. These types of grants allow us to update coursework, respond to the needs of all students regardless of their situations, and create new programs that are responsive to changes in our professions.
We are proud to be CPS.

Marty Loy,
Dean CPS
