Welcome Pointers!

On behalf of the School of Business & Economics, I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2014. The fall semester has seen some important changes for the SBE.
First, we have hired David Schanke, who in addition to teaching management courses, will help supervise our approximately 20 part-time faculty members. Dave has extensive industry experience with a solid management background.
We also added Lyna Matesi as a tenure-track assistant professor of management. In addition to her strong industry background, Lyna completed her Ph.D. during the spring semester in management – specializing in servant leadership.
Finally, we hired Jennifer Resch (BS ‘10) as director of outreach and student issues – a vitally important job that keeps the SBE connected with our outside stakeholders and keeps our programs relevant.
The SBE continues its tradition of hiring personnel with excellent backgrounds in academics and industry.
Gary Mullins, Ph.D.
