Call for Proposals Opens September 8
for the 5th Safe Routes to School National Conference
We know that successful Safe Routes to School programs are comprehensive and engage families, community members, planners, teachers and administrators as well as elected officials.
What’s your best and brightest?
Share your knowledge and insights with us! If it’s different, out of the box and effective, we want to hear from you — bit.ly/Safe-Routes-Conference-Proposals
The National Conference will have six tracks featuring intersecting topics that will engage anyone working on Safe Routes to School and healthy community design. The Safe Routes to School National Conference will be held in April 5-7, 2016 in Columbus.
We want you to show us YOUR intersections
Where do transportation and health meet? How to engage partners for engineering projects? How to ensure equity in your outreach? The possibilities are endless.
The Safe Routes to School National Conference Program Committee is accepting proposals for conference presentations from September 8, starting at 8 am, until October 31 at 5 pm. (All times are Eastern)
And think about how you’d like to share your successes with us — from panels to Pecha Kucha to posters and good old-fashioned presentations.
Learn more about the conference, our partners, scholarships and registration, which opens December 1 — saferoutesconference.org.
