Excitement is building as the 9th International Public Markets Conference is now just a little over a month away! The conference has already attracted over 200 registrants representing over 30 countries.
We are pleased to announce that the preliminary program is now available to peruse, outlining an impressive array of speakers including a welcome by the Honorable Xavier Trias, Mayor of Barcelona, and a Plenary Panel on Market Cities featuring Fred Kent, Founder and President of PPS, Raimond Blasi, Vice Mayor of Barcelona, and Julie Wagner, Nonresident Senior Fellow with the Brookings Institution. Learn more about the breadth of our current registrants on our blog.
If you haven't yet registered, be sure to do so by Friday, February 27th for discounted winter rates. Final rates will end midnight on March 18th, EST. We'd also like to thank everyone who submitted nominations for the 10 Most Endangered Public Markets list. We got a lot of great submissions and are looking forward to presenting the final list at the conference. Hope to see you there!
