This week, we welcomed to the hood a tiny but mighty cocktail bar called Benjamin Cooper from the bartenders behind Big. As usual these guys have packed a lot into a small space, including charming vintage décor, a creative cocktail list and oysters, lots of oysters. It's located inside the Hotel G. Lovers of smoky mezcal will want to join Bartlett Hall Mar. 8 at 2 pm for a free tasting with Casa Cortés owner Rolando Cortés. The family-owned Mexican distillery has been making mezcal since 1840. To RSVP call (415) 433-4332.
Ladies, do your happy dance, because the luxurious Saint Laurent on Geary St. is expanding to include women's apparel. The newly revamped shop is slated to open in May. Details are on Racked.
