COVID-19 sent our women's Bible study online, and that means you can watch it, too!

I was delighted to be on the teaching team for winter Bible Study at Peoples Church, Fresno. Our series, called Life in the Body, was based on 1 Corinthians 12:12. When shelter-in-place orders cancelled our Wednesday morning and evening gatherings, we began video recording the series, and I got to teach from my own living room.

I thoroughly enjoy podcasting!

Little did I know when I started this podcasting adventure that God would build up my own faith even as I launched Believe & Speak out of my desire to encourage you in your faith journey. If you haven't had a chance to listen, please give it a try. I recently did a four-week series on worry, inspired by my response to the pandemic. Last week's episode responded to the tragic death of George Floyd, and I may address that topic again tomorrow. (New episodes come out every Wednesday.)

"Nawna" Shawna will soon welcome another granddaughter.

Little Harley Wren will celebrate her second birthday in August and become a big sister in September. My daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Ryan, are expecting another baby girl on September 12, my mother's birthday! The timing of this bundle of joy is extra special because my mom went home to Jesus the day after Christmas 2019. Scriptures say that sorrow may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. God is good!

The summer Women's Bible Study series at my home church is going to be entirely NEW.

NEW stands for "Next Experience for Women"

With large gatherings still on hold in California, women's ministry at Peoples Church, Fresno will be launching a talk show featuring the some of the teaching team from the Life in the Body series we recently completed. The new show will broadcast "live" on the women's ministry Facebook page every Wednesday morning and evening beginning in a few short weeks. I'm excited to be a part of The NEW, and I salute our women's pastor, Joni Oquist, for coming up with this creative concept and putting together a talented team. PC Women's Facebook page will have more information in the coming weeks.

You may have noticed my new logo in the masthead of this newsletter. Here it is...

My talented daughter (who takes after her talented dad) created a new logo for me that I absolutely love. This logo beautifully gives my whole name without making my middle name look like it's part of my first name. Well done, Sarah!
