Show Your Solidarity:

Rainforest Cafe Workers
on Strike in Niagara!

Urgent Appeal:

Please join us in supporting the courageous restaurant workers at the Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Falls who have been seeking a first contract for over a year. They have been out on strike since Sunday.

The predominantly female workforce formed a union when their employer started clawing back their tips in response to the January 2018 minimum wage increase.

They are fighting against greed. They are fighting for their right to organize. They are fighting for fairness, for respect and for a safe workplace where sexual assault will not be tolerated.

More info available here:

Email VP Eleni Tataridis and GM Jay Rawal and tell them Rainforest workers deserve a fair contract now! We will not patronize their businesses until they start treating their workers with respect.

Join us on the picket line, we are out everyday until we secure a fair contract. We are organizing a major action on Saturday April 13 at 3pm (4915 Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls). Details available on Facebook. Please share.

Please see the list of businesses below, which are owned by the same anti-union employer, and do not patronize them until their owner negotiates a fair contract.

Solidarity forever,
