From New Zealand to Canada, we must

Unite Against Racism

Many of us woke-up today to the heartbreaking news about the mosque shooting in New Zealand in which at least 49 people have died. This attack was carried out by white supremacist.

In dire times like these, we must also remember that Canada is not immune from racism. 6 Muslims were murdered in Quebec City two years ago. The graphic at the bottom of this message highlights the frightening growth of hate-motivated groups and hate crimes in Canada in recent years. 

On Thursday March 21, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, please consider participating in an action in your city. Our partners at the Migrant Rights Network have created a listing of events from March 17-24 on their website:
