The Snowflake Soirée: Please join us on Sunday, January 15th from 7-10pm at Blasi's for a party to celebrate the snowflakes adorning Adam's Village. Suggested donation $20 to offset part of the costs for the electronic snowflake lights. Live Music, door prize. Signature snowflake cocktail being created! We hope to see you all there!

Red Cross Blood Drive at Kelly Training Center: As freezing temperatures and harsh weather grip much of the nation, the American Red Cross urges eligible donors to make an appointment to give blood or platelets to help meet the constant need for blood this winter. A blood drive will be held on Saturday, January 7th from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Kelly Training Center, 40 Enterprise St., Dorchester. Donors with all blood types are needed now to help patients. As a special thank you for taking the time to donate, those who come out to give Dec. 22 through Jan. 8 will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
Viet-AID celebrates the New Year: Join Viet-AID as Dorchester's Vietnamese community welcomes the Year of the Rooster from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Vietnamese American Community Center, 11 Charles St., Dorchester on Saturday, January 21st. Celebrate World Bird Day at Franklin Park Zoo: In celebration of World Bird Day, visit Franklin Park Zoo on January 7. From Gouldian finches to Chilean flamingos, dozens of species of birds call the Zoo home. Learn more during zookeeper encounters, where guests are invited to ask their own questions about these amazing winged creatures! There will also be crafts and activities for the kids, and an education station all about birds.
