Saint Brendan’s School Turkey Shoot: On Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 7 pm, Saint Brendan’s School will host their annual Turkey Shoot Fundraiser. 100% of the profits earned this evening will be applied to a variety of programs throughout the school. Prizes include Bruins tickets, Celtics tickets, gift certificates, hotel stays, and more! The event is adults only (21+).
Adams Corner Tree Lighting: For the 21st year, the Mayor's Enchanted Trolley Tour will continue the festive tradition of lighting holiday trees throughout Boston while bringing presents and holiday spirit to children across the City. Our annual tree lighting and pizza party will take place on Sunday, December 3rd at 6 pm in front of the Old Dorchester Post.
Halfway to Dot Day 5k: Join the Dorchester Running Club for the 3rd annual Halfway to Dot Day 5k and toy drive. Adults are $20 and children under 12 are free with an unwrapped toy to donate. The race will start at 9 am at the 55 Hallet Street entrance of Pope John Paul Park. Runners and walkers are welcome and the first 500 finishers will receive this year's limited edition ornament! Cedar Grove Cemetery 37th Annual Christmas Mass: Sunday, December 17. Concert of Christmas Carols to begin at 10:45 a.m. Gilman Chapel. Light refreshments will be served in the cemetery office following the Mass.
