On October 20th, 2019, Parker University was directly hit by a tornado. While no one was injured and we are very grateful for that, the main campus sustained enough damage to be closed for one week. During this one-week classes were held online. Many long hours of teamwork and dedication were put into operation. It is remarkable to be back up and running this fast. We still have a year and a half to go to rebuild and beautify our campus. To donate and help with rebuilding, visit the link below.

As a group, our Practice-Based Internship (PBI) doctors have been increasingly impressed with the quality of the interns who have rotated through their offices. Our recognition luncheon with the CBI Department, Parker administrators, PBI doctors, and PBI interns was on Friday, November 22nd at Olive Garden. There were two random drawings for $500 awards and the winners were Justin Newsom and Karly Lunday. We are excited to have this as our ongoing award program luncheon and want to thank those participating PBI doctors who made it possible for us to recognize our soon to be graduates!
For more information and to be involved, contact the office of CBI at (214) 902-2417.
