Dear Parents,
Once again I wish that I was welcoming you and your children back to school for a new year. Unfortunately, we are still in the middle of this dispute. 
As a parent, I urge you to let your (and your child's) voice be heard by contacting either your local MLA, the Ministry of Education, Minister Fassbender and/or the BCTF,  signing an online petition, or even visiting the relevant parties either with other parents or individually, and let them know exactly what kind of impact this is having on our children's education,  our home lives, our work lives.

A balanced budget or not? That is the question.........maybe

Following the teachers' strike, Friday, Sept. 12, Vancouver Sun's Editorial page had an interesting article "How would you spend the government's money?" "British Columbians have a chance to tell their MLAs what they want to see in the next provincial budget. Starting on Monday, September 15 either in person or writing....."
