Hi everyone

Halloween has come and gone, along with most (but not all) of the candy. I would like to say a enormous thank you to all the volunteers who made the Halloween Dance such a huge success; event organizers Hillary & Jess,  Tracey Cross, Anne Dubberley, Elspeth Hart, Margaret Yaworski, Jennifer Jackson, Michelle Kearns, Cari Snell, Rahel Thomson, Ally Thomas, Rae Withers, Jitka Holt, Judith Nitsch, Emma McDonald, Rosalind Genge, Nicole Turcotte, Michaela Brooke, Heather Elliott, Alexa Easton, Nicole Robins, Pam Haglof, Cheryl Mitchell, Rebecca Telfer, Sheri Gul, Shaira Tarin, Linda Senenki, Laurie Kennedy, Reshma Withers, Sandra Hunter, colleen Hyland, Pam Hoffman, Julie Taylor, Melanie Zimmerman,  Collette Ostler,  Edalee Maritz, Tanya Scott and Lucy Cayuela.
very special mention as well to the Grade 7 Haunted House parent coordinator Jirina and the Grade 7 parents who produced an amazing Haunted house in the true spirit of Halloween, as well as to all the Grade 7 students who worked so hard in making it a spooky success.

To most families Karen Halls is a familiar name, having been the School Front Office Administrative Assistant for many years. We will be celebrating Karen's Retirement this month. Should you wish to participate please see below for more details.

And lastly, Carisbrooke has always been a very generous community both in terms of donations and in supporting one another. Many of us know of families in our community who have recently lost loved ones.  The broader community of the north shore has selected one of our families as the recipients of the proceeds from an 6th Annual Online Christmas Craft Fair. Please see below for more details on the fantastic community event.

Cheers
Victoria
