Weekly Newsletter
Hi everyone,

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all those teachers who made the Carisbrooke concert such a success. Carisbrooke has always produced the most amazing end of year concerts and this year was no exception. A tremendous effort went into ensuring the success of coordinating 340 children singing and dancing on a stage for 90 minutes.

The concert also heralds the start of the last week of school before the winter break, when excitment is at fever pitch. The decorations are up, the resident elves (for those of us who have them) have made many a noctural excursion, and houses are filled with the smell of Christmas cookies and trees.  Don't miss out on the last School Christmas event of the year, the Band Bash
at 7 pm on the 17th in the gym.

For those of you who may be taking your kids out of school a few days early for the winter break, the front desk has asked that parents inform them  by phone or email as a priorty and not just the teacher. Most of our teachers do not have the opportunity to check emails for the first couple of hours of the day,  by which time the front desk has initiated the tracking process.

Planning for the next PAC event,  the Adult Social, has started. Please let Hillary Reid know if you are interested in Volunteering. See below for more details.

And finally, unless there is a special need to communicate, this will be the last weekly newsletter of 2014. The next newsletter will come out on Sunday January 4th, 2015. I hope that everybody has a wonderful winter break and a happy New Year, and I look forward to seeing you all next year.

Cheers

Victoria
