Weekly Newsletter
Hi everyone

The big event of this week is our annual Halloween dance  (Thursday 29 Oct 5-8 in the School Gym) which will include the dance, a haunted house, pizza, punch and goodies. Please note that although the  online tickets sales have closed, the only tickets that will not be available at the dance are for the Pizza (because we have to pre-order). Dance entry is FREE, punch and Haunted House tickets can be purchased at the event and goodies are by donation. A limited number of pizza tickets will be available at the dance.

We are still looking for volunteers for the dance, please sign up here.

Our Halloween Dance team is also doing a call out for simple decorations for outside the gym. These items can be left in a box outside the school library. Please label and they will be returned on Friday the 30th.

This Monday is DEAR day - Drop Everything and Read.

Thank you to everyone who attended the CPAC Budget meeting on Wednesday. Our new budget can be found here. Thank you to Mr Mitchell and Mrs Walsh for their update regarding Sex Education at Carisbrooke and the Second Step Program which is being piloted in one of our younger grades.

Carol Sator also presented on the Safer Routes to School program on Wednesday evening and provided a informative update on the results of the school survey. In the next few weeks we will be putting together a list of initiatives to support areas identified during the survey. For information regarding the survey please go here.

Please remember to check out the "School News" and "This Week" sections further down in this email.

Last but not least - please remember that Wednesday is a 2 pm early dismissal for staff collaboration.

Cheers

The message from our Crossing Guards this week -
