People often talk about finding their passion without realising that it is not something to seek but a way to be.
This week, we are discussing:

Where do you find your passion?

Are you so busy looking that you miss it?

Like 'choose'day news - finding passion. on Facebook
Do a quick google search for 'find your passion' and about 305 million entries come up. It certainly seems to be a hot topic. And most of those who write on the subject admit they don't know. What seems to be a common theme is - let it find you. So, how do you do that? Many articles will suggest that you have a look at what you spend most of you time thinking about, what do you spend your money on, what do you spend your time doing and who do you like to hang out with. It is suggested that within these things lies the secret of what your passion is. Now, I'm not sure about you, but I have quite an ecletic mis of hobbies, friends and activities. My bookshelf has topics from sexuality to business to parenting and spirituality.

If we read or listen to many motivational speakers there is one passion or thing we are meant to do while on the planet. It';s what we are here for and we must pursue it until we nail it down and our life will fall into a beautiful  rhythm where we are rewarded financially and emotionally for being in alignment with our passion. I think while some of that is true that most of it is rubbish.

I think passion is a way of living. We can get so caught up in looking for our passion that we forget to live passionately in the here and now. Rather than spending time and money attending every course, reading every book and trying out lots of different things, invest time and money in doing things you love, with people you love and trying new things that really appeal rather than because they might bring you the riches and recognition you crave. Forget the riches and the recognition. Live with passion in the moment. The Europeans and the Latinos have a reputation for being in the moment. They sing, dance, eat, drink, argue and love with passion. They experience their world as it is happening.  I challenge you to do the same.

Your challenge this week. Spend more time in the moment. Live passionately that your passion may sneak up on you when you least expect it.

have a great week.
