This week, we are discussing:

Dare to tread kindly.

Overcome anger with kindness

Like 'choose'day news - tread kindly on Facebook

There will be things in life that cause you to feel angry. That's not unusual. What is unusual is if you understand that anger hides many other emotions. Grief and fear are just two of these emotions. Sometimes when we don't know what to do with our emotions we feel frustrated and this can come across as anger. When we become interested observers of human behaviour it changes things. What if when someone was acting in an angry way you asked 'I wonder what they are really feeling?' I'll bet you would have more love, compassion and kindness for them if you could see they are really just afraid or don't feel significant and that anger is the easiest thing for them to do in that moment.

So, I'm keeping it short and sweet this week. Spread kindness and compassion wherever you go this week. And if someone doesn't want to or cannot accept your kindness, feel it in your heart and move away from them. There will be people who just want to you to be angry or frustrated with them and there are others who think that if they can tell you what they are angry about that you will agree with them or that they will feel better. They won't. But until they understand that there is not much point in engaging them in more discussion.

have a great week.

Til next time

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.
