A Valentine Special..

Last year, Pinefield Schools made a commitment to Mark's family, to sponsor his four brothers through school.  Mark is one of the boys from our Care Continuity Challenge Initiative for Street Children.  Pinefield's have been faithful with their commitment, and the family have been thriving since they came on the scene!

Sulaiman, Olaitan, Ridwan and Mustapha had more reasons to smile this Valentine!  They were all invited to celebrate the Season of Love with the Pinefield Schools Kids and went with their mother and brother, Mark, to their party on the 12th of Febraury.  Once again, it was an inspiring production by the Pinefield Kids, and our Kids really enjoyed their outing.  Pinefield Schools still blessed them with some cash for their welfare.  We would like to appreciate Pinefield Schools for their wonderful gesture of love.

A beautiful evening at Terra Kulture!

We took the opportunity of Valentine's Day to take our children out to Terra Kulture for the first time ever.  They enjoyed a meal together on the Terrace before we went down to watch the play, 'Ugonma'. It was a love story turned tragic but also had a lot of humour which got everyone excited with bursts of laughter.  It was inspiring for them to see other talented youth and learn more about their rich culture through art.

We also seized the opportunity to link our Actress, Ibukun, with the director with hopes that she could get some exposure on their stage soon.  We are grateful to our friends who donated towards the occasion, and to those who came out to enjoy the day with the children too!  We also appreciate Terra Kulture for the significant discounts they gave to our staff and children!

Our Newest Partners

We are delighted to announce our newest partners; Stella Chinwem Ilodianya Educational Foundation!  They have decided to join hands with us to sponsor EIGHT of our brilliant and talented kids!  Three of them are part of the Amazing Six, that won the Talent Search Week, just last Christmas - Ibukun, Victor and Faith!

We are so overjoyed by this news, which means that we were able to take FOUR kids off the waiting list, to make the total number of children we are sponsoring through our Disadvantage to Advantage Initiative to rise to 27!  We still have four children among our adopted kids who still need sponsors, and several more on the waiting list.  Would you consider becoming a child sponsor too?
