Thinking Outside The Box

That is the theme for our Summer Camp in August with the FLA Kids!  It's going to be an exciting week of leisure, play and inspirational discussions, as we get our children to think outside the box. As usual, they are beyond excited about meeting together as a family.

Rather that focus on the academic topics our children get to learn in school, which they are already brilliant at, we would like to stir their minds about issues that matter to society and will change their world.  We are talking sociology, human conflict and resolution, mental health and more.  They will also enjoy a day at the Amusement Park and another at the Beach!

We would love for you to be a part of it.  If you're interested, please reply to this email.  Even if you can't now, we would love for you to JOIN OUR COMMUNITY by registering as a member on our website.  An added benefit of registering on the site is that you get to read up on the children on the waiting list, and potentially become a child sponsor.

Please be kind and make a donation towards our work today.  The Summer Camp will cost N10,000 per child, so you could sponsor one or more children.  Please donate to Fair Life Africa Foundation at GTBank, 0106643687.  Thank you so much, and may God bless you richly!

A Fitting Memorial

Mr Damilola Famakinwa and his friends and family visited our Centre on the 15th of June to honour the memory of his late wife, Tosin.  We did a feature story on the memorial for our GlobalGiving report, and republished it on our blog.  Here are some pictures of the day.

When God closes a door, He opens a window

Last year, a friend of ours lost his dear wife, just months after their marriage.  On the anniversary of his loss, Damilola Famakinwa decided to celebrate life by giving to those less fortunate, through our work at Fair Life Africa Foundation.  By so doing, he turned an awful memory into a joyous occassion, and made her legacy to last in the hearts of our children!  Read more...
