|We've teamed up with Salt Society to make learning fun for the #FLAKids.
It's the Summer School Break, and the children have been invited to rest, play and engage in some fun learning at the FLA Home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. With the help of our friends at Salt Society, we have planned a full schedule with opportunities for the children to brush up on their English Literacy and Numeracy, as well as gain some knowledge about Catering, Etiquette, Sex, Digital Literacy, Dance and the craft of Beadmaking.
In the picture of above, Ufuoma poses with four members of the Society and two FLA volunteers, Vera and Ijeoma. Abe Soyemi is the founder, and kicked of the Summer School with a Catering Class on 'How to make Pancakes'! Antonia Onugba is our dance teacher, while Mr and Mrs Ufeli are taking the class on Literacy, called 'Speak Right, Sound Right'.
