As the year closes, we want to let you know that the third biennial ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE festival will be held from 23 April to 19 May 2019. The 2019 festival will focus on reaching new audiences and communities. We aim to ensure that the empowering ideas and opportunities resonate beyond the inner city - in suburban and regional areas, inspiring possibilities of transition and transformation.
Our festival website will launch on 28 February 2019, but don't worry; we'll keep you up to date with the upcoming program and events in the New Year!
We leave you with some fantastic images from last month’s ‘School Strike for 4 Climate Action’. That was a truly momentous and inspiring rally led by brilliant young people demanding action on climate change. We hope this rally, alongside the important cultural work of our participating artists, actors, writers, scientists, climate experts and curators in ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE 2019, inspire those who hold the reins of power to act for humanity’s sake, for a just and sustainable future for all life on earth. Safe and happy holidays.
