Thank you, as always, for your generous giving.
DOUGLAS UCC CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT
The beautiful Douglas UCC Christmas ornament (pictured at left) is now available for sale. Designed and crafted in Poland, the ornament depicts the front of our church. Right now, orders are limited to one per family. The cost is $25, but any donation would be appreciated. You can place your order this Sunday in the Friendship Hall.
Douglas UCC will be holding a Vigil for Victims of Gun Violence on Friday, December 14
at 6 p.m. in our sanctuary. Thank you to our church's Social Justice Team for coordinating.
We are seeking volunteers who are willing to shovel snow outside the church on Sunday mornings this winter. If you can help, please sign the sheet in the Friendship Hall. Thanks!
True North Women's Group is collecting money to support Fennville Elementary School's Winter Closet Project, which keeps snow pants and snow boots on school grounds for under-dressed children. $30 buys a pair of boots or a pair of snow pants, but any donation is appreciated. Checks can be made out to "Douglas UCC" with "Winter Closet Project" in the memo line. If you have gently used snow boots, snow pants, or coats, we will be happy to take them. We will be collecting in the Friendship Hall each Sunday until December 9th.
We hope you can join us on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. for our annual candlelight service of the "Lessons & Carols," featuring our Holiday Choir under the direction of Marty Kiefer.
