March 2014 News

I recently came to the realization that 3D printing and the smart phone might just be the ultimate combination for access, allowing communication and information to be shared seamlessly and freely. Indoor navigation with 3D modeling may create a great independence for people with disabilities. Text messaging and voice recognition continue to gain ground in our daily lives and may be seen as symbols of access. What comes next? Will disability become obsolete? Is it possible to fix our bodies so that nothing will beat us physically? Will disability become a very rare word? Whatever the case may be, these new technologies will make the world a better place.
