On September 12, we'll be moving our worship service time to 9:45. Following that service, we invite you to stay in the sanctuary for a short presentation from our ministry and class leaders. You'll hear about all the ways you can grow, serve, and share in the life of Westminster this fall.

After our ministry introductions, we'll have a fellowship lunch! Please bring a main dish and a side, enough to feed your family + 4 Aggies. We'll eat lunch around 11:45.
Our fall semester of Life Groups begins September 19, starting at 11:15am. We have six adult groups from which you can choose, but we would like to map out our classroom space and room capacity. Please take a moment to browse our list of classes and let us know your interests. You are free to select more than one class and then choose later in the semester! We'll also have a signup table in the foyer this Sunday so that you can look at all the classes side by side.
Covenant Kids is Westminster's catechism program for children ages 4 through 4th grade, using the New City Catechism. Our fall semester of classes begins this Wednesday, September 1. We'll be serving a simple meal for the whole family at 6pm; evening classes run from 6:30 to 7:30. You can help us plan to feed your family by signing up your kids for Covenant Kids here:
We'll have programming for the whole family each Wednesday! Other groups meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 on Wednesdays:

We've had a lot of interest - it's your last chance to reserve a spot in Leadership DNA! We begin our first session this Sunday at 5pm, or you may join us on Mondays at 11:45am. Leadership DNA is a class that will span two semesters and covers the same content that your prospective elders and deacons study, from a first-semester focus on the Confessions and an overview of doctrine to a second-semester focus on philosophy of ministry.
A new men’s Bible Study is starting on September 23. Led by Elder Paul McDonald and Steve Greer, our focus is on building community with other men, prayerful support of each other and studying the Word…and we will have breakfast together!! August 29:  Chris Peterson will be giving us a taste of his class: God's Redemptive Plan in each book of the Old Testament; and we'll hear from a WPC team that is ministering to those in need through our local ministry partner BCS Together
September 5: A ministry update from Kris and Paula Lundgaard and Ryan and Katie Pekarek
September 12: An introduction to all of our fall Life Groups and their leaders; our ministry opportunities for the fall; and our groups and classes, followed by a Fellowship Meal
Our fall Bible studies will be starting on September 8 and 9! Sign up here.

Take a moment to RSVP for our Autumn Garden Party on September 25. Think about inviting a friend who may be looking for a church home.
Financial Peace is moving to a Tuesday evening! We've had interest from several young couples who would like to start off right by saving and investing early, budgeting wisely, and giving generously.... and Tuesdays work better for them. Anyone is invited to join this class but we'll have a special focus on the money management principles you can develop early in your adult life. Financial Peace University is based on principles from Dave Ramsey and is taught by Charles and Rachel Lafon. To participate in the class, register here; then contact the church at 979-776-1185 to ask about our tuition rebate.

Great job emptying the library shelves last week! We'll give you one more week to browse through our stacks and take home any books that would benefit your personal library. We're working on a new look for this area this fall!
Wondering why the Weekly is hitting your inboxes so late on a Friday evening? The Weekly Elves have been pulling double duty this week, preparing 200 swag bags for the Impact Ministry Fair held at Central Church for incoming freshmen this evening. Pray that our greeter team will make connections and extend a warm welcome to our area's new college students!
