We have fasted together; let’s feast as well! We have an upcoming fellowship lunch following Life Groups, around 12:15pm this Sunday. Bring a main dish, enough to feed your family plus a few extra. Last names A-M, please also bring a side. Last names N-Z, bring a dessert.

The Road to Easter…

• April 2: remembering Christ’s triumphal Jerusalem entry with Palm Sunday worship at 9:45am.

• April 6: Maundy Thursday service, commemorating Christ's institution of the Lord's Supper with his disciples, at 6:30pm.

• Evening of April 6 through Evening of April 7: Corporate Fast, with a break-the fast fellowship meal served on Good Friday at 5:30pm. (Prepared food is fine! Bring fried chicken or chicken fingers and A-M, bring a dessert; N-Z, bring a side.)

• April 7: Good Friday Choir Cantata (after our fellowship meal) at 6:30pm.

• April 9: He has risen indeed! Easter Worship at 9:45am.

Westminster kids ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to wave palm fronds during the first song of worship on Palm Sunday! Meet Ms. Linda and Ms. Jess in the library area right before church starts. Hosannah!

On April 2, we will have a congregational meeting immediately after worship for the purpose of electing church officers. Greg Williamson is our nominee for elder, and Patrick Wilson is our nominee for deacon.

A new support group for caregivers:

We’re pleased to announce a new Wednesday class led by our own Bryan and Susan Duncan! The Duncans have founded D&A Counseling here in Bryan/College Station, and they wanted to offer support those in our church who are actively engaged in caregiver services, whether it’s a spouse, a child with a disability, or an aging parent. The group will meet during Wednesdays @ Westminster, from 6:30-8:00, and will consist of a time of prayer, sharing, support, and as needed, education. If you would like more information about the group, email Bryan or Susan. Care for Caregivers will meet starting this Wednesday, March 29.

During our Mission Conference this year, we conducted interviews so that you can connect with our missionaries and pray for specific needs. NoNo and Kate Beale serve in Reynosa, Mexico, with Isaiah 55 Ministries, originally primarily a school for deaf children, but now an umbrella organization for many integrated outreaches. Please pray for:

• spiritual and physical health for the missionary team that NoNo leads and mentors

• more people to serve in the many ministries at Isaiah 55

Womens Spring Soiree

Westminster Women, we’ll be meeting in the courtyard on April 1, from 6-8:00pm, for an evening of dinner and worship. Please let us know if you need to reserve a spot in the nursery for the evening by Sunday - email Linda Madden. Our outreach focus for this event is the Families Count parenting class, and their upcoming class graduation. If you would like to contribute, please bring something from this list the night of the event:

• $5-$10 gift card to a fast food restaurant

• HEB or Walmart gift card

• Uber gift card ($15 max)

• Scented candle

• Mrs. Meyers brand hand soap or cleaning supplies

Next Friday, members and regular attenders of Westminster will receive access to our church directory online through a password-protected portal in Church Connect. Members who create a profile and password through Church Connect will be able to upload their own family photos and update their own information through the portal. It will take WPC staff a day to verify your registration, so get ahead of the game and create your login now!

Join our Westminster Aggies for a church work day on April 1 from 8:30-12:00. The workday will include spreading mulch at flower beds, placing topsoil in some low areas and replacing several dead shrubs. Also, we will be changing old light bulbs to LED and cleaning out closets. WPC will provide pizza for lunch.

There will be a a kindergarten through 2nd grade teacher opening beginning in June. We would love to have you serve our younger children! There is a set curriculum, an experienced co-teacher, and precious children just waiting for someone to answer this call! Contact Linda Madden if interested! 979-255-0453

Amy Albright has been assisting in the office over the past three months, but is moving to Chicago to pursue new opportunities.
