Remember that this Saturday evening we spring forward to Daylight Savings Time!
On April 2, we will have a congregational meeting for the purpose of electing church officers. Greg Williamson is our nominee for elder, and Patrick Wilson is our nominee for deacon. As you consider them for these leadership positions at Westminster, we invite you to read a bio on each one:
In his own words: Patrick Wilson

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home, and at the age of five, I came to a knowledge of God’s saving grace in Christ. A tragic accident in my early 20s drove me deeper in my dependence, trust and relationship with God.

In his own words: Greg Williamson

I accepted Christ as Lord and Savior when in the fourth grade and am grateful that God has continued to sanctify me for His purposes throughout my life.

I met my wife Cindy at a terrible church “50’s Party” in Dallas and we soon became inseparable. We were married in 1982 and were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Rebecca, Sarah and Katharine.

During the Mission Conference, we were able to get up-close-and-personal with our missionaries through some video interviews. Wes and Jami Baker, former members of WPC,  serve in Trujillo, Peru. Unfortunately our video call had some technical issues, but you may still view Wes' answers to our questions in this video.

Wes asks for prayer:
  • for himself and Jami, as they care for aging parents and a grandparent here in the States and spend a lot of time traveling
  • for their new grandbaby, born here in Bryan in February!
  • for Wes, as he travels in the US often to fundraise for Peru churchplanting
  • for a new Peruvian church plant that is opening this month in Chimbolte
  • for 25 new seminary students who will be starting this year
  • a new semester in their Christian school and the many opportunities for witness to families of students
Tim and Cheri Hoke serve in Kampala, Uganda, with African Bible University each fall semester. Their prayer requests:
  • Pray for students who need financial assistance to afford the fees for college.
  • Pray for new faculty members at ABU.
  • Pray for good health for Tim and Cheri.
On March 21 and 22 we will be hosting some missionaries who lead a church in eastern Slovakia, and minister to Roma people groups: Juraj (pronounced YOUR-eye)and Zuzana Sabol. The Sabols were MTW ministry partners in Slovakia with Kris and Paula Lundgaard; for two years Paula worked closely with Zuzi and Kris worked closely with Juraj. Now you get to meet the Sabols and hear about their ministry to the Roma; they will be presenting to our adults at Wednesdays at Westminster on March 22!

Join our Westminster Aggies for a church work day, on April 1 from 8:30-12:00. The workday will  include spreading mulch at flower beds, placing topsoil in some low areas and replacing several dead shrubs. Also, we will be changing old light bulbs to LED and cleaning out closets. WPC will provide pizza for lunch.
WPC Staff have started working on the 2023 church directory, but we need your help! When we moved our new data management software, we were not able to import your old family photos. There are two ways to submit your photos for this year's directory:

1. Sign up for a Church Connect account. You'll have access to change your own photos and information, even from your smartphone (as well as giving online, registering for events, or letting us know your availability to serve). In several weeks we will be turning on access to a members-only online directory through Church Connect. Click here to sign up for WPC's Church Connect app. >>
2. Email your family photos to our Membership Coordinator, Steve Hampton. >>

Let's see those photos!
Pastor Tree has written a curriculum on the three Johns and Jude that is available for you to use in Bible study! Look for it on the shelf in our library area dedicated to free resources..
