Changes to Sanctuary Seating

We will be worshiping together at 10:25am this Sunday! While we will continue to offer mask-preferred seating, we are eliminating one of the mask-preferred sections and only using social distanced seating in the far-right section in our sanctuary. If you need help finding your way, one of our deacons or church staff in the foyer would be glad to seat you.

Pastor's Picks for Books on Sex + Sexuality

We're currently going through a mini-series on selected Proverbs dealing with the subjects of Money, Sex, and Power. This Sunday, Pastor Wade will be preaching from Proverbs 6:20-7:27 - Wisdom: Sex and the Biblical Perspective. After the service, check out our table of resources in the church foyer. We'll have a take-home bookmark for you with recommendations on this subject for kids, singles, and couples; and you'll be able to flip through the resources on the table.

Titus Bagby, RUF-Intl. Texas A&M:
Because a number of the students who participate in RUF-Intl. need to be protected from recrimination in their home countries, we don't link to Titus' newsletters publicly. But you are welcome to subscribe to them! Here's the link.
This Sunday, junior high students meet at 6:30pm for a Bible study. There is no youth group next Wednesday evening.

We're looking forward to RYM Summer Camp for our high schoolers! They'll be gone from June 14-19. Pastor Tree will be sending out a packing list soon.
Ladies, we are planning an event on Friday, June 4th. We will meet at the church at 10am and go to Farm Friday at Aquatic Greens Farm for some shopping and then to lunch for those that want to go. Aquatic Greens Farm is owned by our own WPC member Sharon Wells. Check it out here! >> With questions, call Carol Stanley at 979-777-1704.
Worshiping online with us Sunday? Our livestream service starts at 10:25.

Senior Spotlight: Vivian Lyday

Vivian moved to College Station in the summer of 2018, before her Sophomore year of high school. Right away, she was very pleased that the Aggieland Humane Society would let 16 year olds volunteer. She put in tons of hours there, and many of you have seen her very earnest and winsome commercial that has aired on local TV channels over the past few years. She has worked hard in school, making straight A’s because of many long hours at her desk. She has participated in choir since Junior High, and she has really loved being president of the Creative Writing club this year - they published their first anthology and soon you can even buy it on Amazon! At Westminster she has loved youth group and coffee with Emma, choir with Ms Kim, and the sound/media booth with Mr Sattem. She is loyal to her family and her friends, and a very hard worker for several shifts a week at Costa Vida restaurant.
After much research and thought, she applied to Colorado State University where she got an academic scholarship, and she will study Zoology with an emphasis on animal behavior. We are proud of her and glad she will honor the Lord with the many gifts he has given her - her sharp mind and her love of His creation.

Psalm 46:1-7
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place
where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
