T-shirts are on the way! You may purchase a shirt for your child that will be delivered on the first day of VBS, July 11. (Volunteers at VBS will receive a free coordinating navy-colored t-shirt.)
VBS registrations are already over halfway full and we will have to start a waiting list when we reach capacity. You'll want to reserve a spot for your child soon!
There are still volunteer spots open in which you can serve with our VBS team! One of our biggest needs is for crew leaders that would move our teams of kids through their rotations.
VBS VOLUNTEERS ONLY: You are invited send your younger children to our nursery, ages 0-2 or pre-K class, ages 3-4!
See you at the park tomorrow! Our church-wide picnic will be held at Tiffany Park in Bryan on May 21 from 4-7pm, with dinner served at 5:30. Bring enough fried chicken for your family + a few Aggies, and last names A-M bring a finger food sweet (such as watermelon, brownies or cookies); last names N-Z bring a finger food side (such as veggie tray, chips, or corn on the cob). The park facilities offer a basketball court, playgrounds, and a splash pad. You’ll want to bring camp chairs for additional seating.
Join us to celebrate God’s grace in the lives of our graduating high school seniors! We will be recognizing Claire Franklin and Elizabeth Krajca in the Fellowship Hall, 6:30-8pm on May 25, with a dessert reception to follow. All are invited.

Senior Spotlight: Claire Franklin

Claire Grace Franklin will be graduating from A&M Consolidated High School on May 27, 2022.

Claire has worked on the ROAR newspaper staff throughout high school and served as the Editor in Chief her senior year. She has been a member of the AMCHS Choir, the National
Honor Society, and the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Claire was honored to have the opportunity to serve as a Girls State Delegate and be part of Junior Leadership Brazos during her junior year. During senior year, Claire was thrilled to be part of the 2022 Senior Hall of Fame for CSISD where she was able to honor one of her beloved high school teachers.
Claire is thankful for her WPC church family. She has enjoyed being a member of the Westminster youth group, going on youth retreats and summer camp, serving in the nursery, participating in youth choir outreach opportunities, and serving during Vacation Bible School.

Claire will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall of 2022. She plans to study Urban and Regional Planning. Congratulations Claire and the class of 2022!

Her Favorite Verse:
“In God, whose word I praise,
In God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?”
Psalm 56:4
Westminster Family: Your elders invite you to attend a town hall meeting on May 29, during Life Groups hour, during which they will discuss the PCA's upcoming General Assembly, and provide an update on life and ministry at WPC. Pastor Wade will walk you through the overtures that will be discussed at GA, and give a broad overview of the issues that face our denomination. The elders will also present a mid-year financial report. If you are interested in previewing the overtures that will be presented at this year's General Assembly, click here.
On June 2, the Westminster Youth Choir will be singing at several different retirement communities in town. They will be visiting the Langford in College Station, the Parc at Tradition, Arbor Oaks, and Watercrest at Bryan.
