Her cast butterflies are a lovely blend of ethereality and solidity, a contrast that holds my gaze every time I look their way. Can we also please talk about the pressed rose ring and necklaces? I think these are my favorite pieces in this entire collection. It reminds me of the flower pressing kit my mom gave my sisters and I when we were kids (I still have it!!), and the days I used to spend collecting and pressing everything in the woods around me. Her cast roses are just like the butterflies, the intangible made tangible. A wonderful ode to the Japanese concept of wabi sabi.
