One of a kind mineral specimens, intricate castings, bolts, and the beautiful way in which they all come together
Hello <<First Name>>!
It's definitely been a minute since I said hello to you in this space. Colin and I have both taken bits of time off here and there to spend with our respective families and I've gotten a bit behind in my updates. But rest assured that I have lots of beautiful handmade jewelry to share with you this summer!
You know I'm always excited to share work from the lovely Carin Jones, and today is no exception. These are some of the last pieces she made in her long-time studio before moving into her family's dream house (it's truly dreamy!) this year. This collection brings together elements from the entire breadth of her recent work.
Intricate, ephemeral treasures from nature made permanent in sterling silver. Her signature gold-plated bolts and threaded wires. Mineral specimens kept in their stunning natural state of ordered chaos. A typewritten label or two, harkening to her beginnings in zoology.
It all comes together beautifully here. I hope you find something you adore, and may this beautiful collection of jewelry brighten your summer weekend!
We were so delighted and surprised when we flipped through our Summer copy of American Craft Magazine and saw Carin's work featured! She shared the news of course on her own site, but I wanted to include it here too in case you hadn't seen it yet. So exciting!!
I hope you love these beauties as much as I do! As always, if you have any questions at all, just hit reply or DM me on Instagram or Facebook.
