SHAPED - get to work interprofessionally

We at SHAPED believe that while studying hard for exams is important, some lessons for a successful collaboration among health professionals can only be learned in the healthcare institutions themselves!

This is why we want to invite YOU to spend half- to a full day with one of our tutors and get to know them and their work. You will not only gain insight into a new profession, but also share your own experience and elaborate with your tutor on what fruitful interprofessional teamwork should look like!

Sign up here today and get ready for an inspiring experience!

Exchanges

swimsa Exchanges - exchange the world!

With August nearing, we approach the end of the swimsa year. We had a wonderful and demanding term, finally getting to work on putting SCOPE and SCORE exchanges back on their feet after the pandemic.

To continue to work on enabling medical students to go on exchange and host incoming students from all over the world, we are looking for coordinators to assist our National Exchanges Team in their daily business starting in September.

The positions are:

- The NEO-Out Assistant who will assist the National Exchange Officer for Outgoings in their daily tasks

- The NEO-In Assistant who will do the same for the National Exchange Officer for Incomings

- The NORE Assistant to work with the National Officer for Research Exchange

- The National Exchanges Treasurer who will help the VPX and the swimsa Treasurer keep an overview on the Exchanges finances

- The Third State Coordinator who will issue invitation letters against a small fee for students coming to Switzerland outside of the exchanges program and assist the National Exchanges Team with visa questions once comfortable enough.

If any of the above mentioned positions catch your fancy, feel free to send an inquiry or your application directly to vpx@swimsa.ch.

For more details, you can consult the swimsa job booklet starting from page 14. We look forward to hearing from you!

Capacity Building

T4all - Training for all!

Travel to Portugal while also receiving soft skill training sessions? Yes please! The T4all (Training 4 All) is a renown training within IFMSA. Experienced members can try to get a spot in TNT (Training New Trainers) training to become a trainer themselves. If you are rather new to swimsa, we can recommend the more general training sessions.

Sponsor d'or - FMH
