Message from the Executive Director
April was a busy month for members to attend events and network.
The Dale Carnegie presentation on April 7th was very informative with one more session scheduled for May 5th.
Mohawk College held an open house, with industry leaders and Chambers in attendance, on April 9th. Tours were also given of this great facility in Stoney Creek.
We held a shredding Service with Executive Services at the Chamber office on April 23rd. Many people arrived on site to take advantage of this service.
On April 290th, Sean Donnelly president of ArcelorMittall updated us on the present and future of steel in Hamilton, and Canada, at a breakfast meeting, held at The Express Restaurant.

On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to announce that our Executive Director; Dave Cage has decided to retire effective June 30th. We would like to thank Dave for his 17 years of service to our community and wish him many years of happiness in his retirement.
The BIA of Stoney Creek will hold the first Saturdays in the Creek of the season on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along King Street East from New Mountain Road to Lake Avenue
The second Saturdays in the Creek will be held on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along King Street East and will run in conjunction with the Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek.
