Mohawk College Enterprise (MCE) is the stand alone business to business division of Mohawk College. MCE provides corporate training services to all types of organizations on behalf of the college.
MCE offers services in three portfolios.
Leadership:
The leadership portfolio focuses on the essential “soft” skills required by leaders, managers and employees alike. It includes everything from front line customer service and sales training up to strategic planning with executive teams. MCE’s award winning “Future Ready Leadership Program” is offered over eight months, one day a month to new or emerging leaders. This program can be customized.
Technology:
The technology portfolio includes basic to advanced computer training as well as production, trades and semi - trades skill upgrading. MCE works with companies to determine their distinct needs then develops a program to suit them. MCE offers operator and technical skills training, roll grinder training, backflow water prevention and welding to name a few.
Health Sciences:
In the health sciences portfolio, MCE staff work closely with college faculty to customize programs that allow up skilling in multiple areas in the health sciences profession. Two examples of programs successfully delivered include the operating room attendant program and IV therapy.
Mohawk College Enterprise is located in the STARRT Campus of Mohawk College on Barton Street in Stoney Creek. This allows us to work closely with our industry partners while making use of the labs and facilities at the campus. |
