Mieszko’s primary work as a lawyer is in Real Estate Law, in addition to Corporate and Commercial Law, as well as Wills and Estates at the law firm of McHugh Whitmore LLP. This includes everything from reviewing and understanding the law, drafting documents and agreements, and providing valuable legal advice.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Mieszko is a graduate of McMaster University where he obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 before attending the University of Windsor Law School where he received his Bachelor of Laws degree in 2009. After articling in Hamilton, Mieszko was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011. Known to some as “Mitch”, Mieszko is also fluent in the Polish language. He is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mitch is also active in various community organizations and is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors with the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce.
In his spare time, you will often find Mieszko leaving for the great outdoors to ski, hike, or fish. He is also an avid fan of football, hockey and basketball and enjoys reading books on history and geography.

Message from the Executive Director
We had a great month with presentations from Economic Development Canada to assist members with exporting goods and services.
Hamilton Police Chief Glenn De Caire gave us an overview of the progress in crime prevention which shows a great deal of improvement in our city.
We will be making final preparations for our annual Citizen of the Year announcement of winners and plans for a great banquet to be held May 21st at Winona Vine Estates.
Members will be able to bring material for shredding to our office on April 23rd from 4:00 to 7:00. This event is being hosted by Exclusive Services. The cost of shredding is $6.00 per box with proceeds going to City Kidz Hamilton.

The Lions Club of Stoney Creek is holding an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at Sherwood Park, 14 Sherwood Park Rd. The event will include Easter egg-related games with prizes. The event is free and hotdogs and chips will be available for purchase.
