  • Call open for FinCEAL Plus BRIDGES Partnership Support Instrument Grants! The Partnership Support Instrument offers small-scale financial support for building and maintaining the Finnish scientific community’s research and innovation cooperation initiatives with their peers from Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) addressing one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).   • Dissertation Defense: Doctoral student Anne Pylvänäinen will be defending her doctoral dissertation, Development Evaluation for Local Impacts, at Tampere University on the 17th of August, 2019 at 12 (EEST). Pylvänäinen argues that evaluation would be an important tool for helping governments, the private sector and civil society to increase human well-being, if it was used to its full potential. The defense can be watched online through a live stream.
