Well it is that time of year again to do some reflection on the past 12 months. As I do, I think of all the interesting and special people who have come in to my life as patients and as friends.
It has been a wonderful year, a challenging year, and a year of learning. Thank you for being a part of it if you are receiving this email!
As someone who has been in the fitness/ health /healing business for over 35 years, I have seen a lot of changes. Over 35 years ago I started a personal training business and a martial arts school. Currently, my role as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Medical QiGong has taken me into serving as an International Chair of Certification for all things QiGong and Medical QiGong related.
I still love helping people achieve their life goals and reclaim their health – even from the direst of circumstances. I enjoy the difficult and complicated cases. I love a good challenge and I love to research! I am offering my one hour Total Fitness Plan appointments to get you started on the right path to health for your body. (We are offering a special price on these through the end of January to help as many people as possible get on the path to a healthy body).
This year, I am expanding some of the things I am interested in as courses.
In dealing with some of the most difficult and complicated health cases in North America, I have learned a lot of how the human mind works when faced with challenge. I started a course last year called the Immortal Mind program and I am expanding that into a full blown course that teaches people how to understand how their emotions work, how they make decisions and how they learn to love, let go and forgive and find peace. A strange thing occurs in this work - as you free the mind and let go – all that energy that was being consumed is now available to go back to heal the physical body. I do believe this is the secret to aging healthy. We will be announcing the dates of this program in the next month.
I have also come to realize in the many energetic teachings available (including Reiki, meditation and spiritual practices), there is nothing that specifically uses the cycles of the seasons as a way of synchronizing with our internal nature for emotional and spiritual development. A key component to the practice is to eat energy differently throughout the change of seasons and to change your energetic cultivation practice and meditations. I have developed a course called Immortal Mind Seasonal QiGong to teach practitioners how to use this method of working with seasonal energy for optimum health in body, mind and heart. The first session will be this April, timed for the spring season of beginnings and healthy growth.
I am so excited about these two new directions to offer here at Inner Strength !
So lots of positive changes this year. I sincerely hope you will join me in making changes in your own life for the better !
