Church News

9th March 2015

Why do things never seem to go right for me?!?!?

How's your Monday going so far? Maybe you've already used that phrase today already. Frustrating isn't it. Why is it that situations and circumstances seem to work against us so often?

If you missed Ruth's 10 Shades of Scarlet message yesterday then why not take the time to listen to it this week. What's clear from the Story of Rahab is that God works in ways that are different to ours. So often we try to fix things ourselves instead of just trusting him.

Ruth finished the message by giving everyone a little red ribbon for us to keep safe as a reminder that "God is for us not against us".

My prayer for you this week is that you will stand firm on his promises for you. That you will be patient, trust in him with all your heart and know that he is close to you. I woke this morning singing
the incredible "You make me brave" song from Bethel church. Surely he is the Champion of our souls?

Have a great week!

Pastor Phyl
