As usual time seems to have marched on quickly this Fall and we find ourselves yet again counting down to the turning point and the years' darkest days. It is a time to celebrate the ending of one and the renewing of another!  And so the Holidays are upon us....Most immediately we wish you all a very restfull Feast Day of Thanksgiving, again & always with special thanks to all our fowl & feathered friends. On the traditional shopping day after we are again kicking off the season with a  Black Friday Promotion offering for one day only 10% Off Everything in the Store.  This includes sale items as well as a further discount on our Current Promotion listed below, 20% off on all velvet scarves, good through the end of the year.
       The day after Black Friday is Small Business Saturday, a campaign begun 2 years ago by American Express to support small businesses everywhere.  Any customer with an Amex card is eligible for a $25 rebate to their account by shopping at one of the registered small businesses on their website.  Yazdi is one of those, so by using your Amex card this Saturday at our shop, you recieve $25 from Amex in return.  One caveat, you must go to the Small Business Saturday site, (click on for link), to register your card to participate!  In honor of this 'Shop Small' day, we are offering all of our jewelry at 10% off on that Saturday only. We give Thanks

Jamie and Michelle are our most valued and trusted managers who guide the ship at Yazdi and Yazdi II respectively!  They are amazing in their ability to create beautiful ensembles and can even remember our customers preferences & previous purchases to assist in wardrobe additions.  What service!  We are all excited for Jamie who is going home to her native Maine for the holidays.  On another note, after more than a year away raising her healthy & darling baby boy Zoley, Jerrica, Yazdi's long time manager up until last year,  has stepped in again for an occasional shift. We are so very grateful to have her back among us in the shop!  And our former long time manager Solange (as she juggles with pursuing her degree) is currently doing the great holiday decorations for the Wallingford Center, as well as for our shops, which shines with her special touch & love. Many Thanks to her!  Yazdi is blessed with those who are still part of our lives.  And those that return to be a part again, as did Jackie,            cont...

Our favorite U of W alumni, Dr. Bryn, who now teaches English Lit at Seattle University, continues to favor us by covering on an occasional Sunday & other needy days. We bask in the sunshine of her sparkling energy & goodwill!  Finally, our two most recent additions to staff, Leah & Bridget, at Yazdi & Yazd II respectively, have been with us for over a year now  and we could not manage without their unfailing support. Yazdi is truly grateful to our wonderful staff, past and present.
