Delivering a research report: a chance to review together a first batch of analysis of our vast conversations in the last three months. Inga Popovaite

Dear friends,
By now you probably heard about the International conference in Tbilisi this month: June 24-26, where everyone is invited! It follows months of building our Futurespotters community through online conversations and physical workshops in each country: Georgia, Armenia, Tbilisi.

The world is listening.
The epic goal of the event is to build cutting edge solutions to challenges we identified together: resistance to collaboration and lack of trust; difficulty to engage our communities in activism for change; learning obstacles in technology, especially for women; and more. You will also meet representatives of the United Nations Development Programme who are looking for opportunities to better support your work.

How can you come?
A mini website has been set up, containing all the relevant information: how to register, how to get to Tbilisi, where the planning documents are, how we are supporting participants' travel and stay in Tbilisi etc. If you are considering coming but haven’t taken steps in that respect, now’s the time. Don’t wait! Register, even if you are in Tbilisi, it helps plan for food and room space.

How can you get involved?
Remember there's no spectators. The only way for you to fully experience being part of a lively community and get the most out of it is to help build things together: we need graphic designers, people to take photos or shoot at the event, bloggers to write about it, more session leaders and documenters to ensure follow up.

Join the online call tomorrow, THURSDAY at 11 AM CET to prepare the event and have your questions answered fast.

PS This is the first of 3 weekly digests to keep us all informed before we meet in Tbilisi, so keep an eye on your emails from Edgeryders.

About Edgeryders: We are a global community working to affect change. A social enterprise grew out of it in 2013. We have worked hard to keep Edgeryders free and independent by not applying for funding or investment. Our strategy is to pursue paid client work that is aligned with the community's values, cover the costs of running the platform and generate quality paid work for community members.
