Hello dears,

As usual we welcome all newcomers and registrants for Living on the Edge event in Matera this fall. That means you, too, if you want to peek into the world's first unMonastery! As you know, LOTE is a no spectators event and all 60 of us and counting are doing our best. If you haven't got in touch so far, please do so! Or take your pick from the activities below and get involved!

Upcoming community call


...all of us in attendance last Friday decided to shift focus from planning to execution, namely put down names of Who is doing what, depending on major areas: in collaborative content preparations (Lote tracks) and services preparations (venue, travel, accommodation, food, partying).
We're taking one area at a time: this Friday we'll be discussing fundraising & partnership building!

This is where you can get involved. All of it is voluntary work – we are all doing this on our own free time and no money is involved, though we do hope to be able to fund someone to travel to Matera. If you are interested, we are happy to give you a LinkedIn recommendation.

Meet and join the Social Media Team


Social media team now has a designated group on EdgeRyders platform where we'll be coordinating the buzz around Lote. To choose what Lote news we spread on our personal channels, Dorotea and Khushboo are up for posting (almost-)daily content in the group which you can easily see and share or reshare on your own social media profiles.
Everyone is invited to subscribe to the group to be officially part of the team and press Follow to be notified when good news needs wings :)

Living on the Edge (LOTE) is a 4 day event in October 2013 where we learn how to build great things together and scale the impact of our projects. There’s never been anything like it and you can come, too!
LOTE is a no-spectator event. We keep LOTE free of charge so anyone can afford to attend, and participants are expected to contribute to building a meaningful and generative experience for everyone involved. Everyone can contribute something, whether it is curating a track at the event, facilitating a session, doing fundraising or social media outreach, making a video or helping to coordinate rideshares.
