Hi everyone,
You might be interested to know our number went up! We are now 70 people committed to Lote. With a brand new minisite aggregating all current info about the event (http://edgeryders.eu/lote3), several calls for participation out in both writing and video, as well as a functional social media team promoting Lote, we are set to move forward.

Before checking out the latest developments below, let me just say hi to the new people in our team of volunteers: Leila, Zoe, Joe, Silvia, Luigi, Dan, Shabnam. Welcome <3

In last Friday's call...

...we met Leila and Giuseppe! Leila kindly offered to join our social media team and we agreed to send emails with daily content for the team. Thanks to Giuseppe, photographer and graphician living 15km from Matera, we have another ally in the local area. He kindly offers to get in touch with people who can offer free accommodation, as well as with owners who can provide sleeping space at low rates.

Many #LOTErs here are volunteering to coordinate work around most tasks. There are teams on our 3 program tracks, on logistics & accommodation, preparing the venue, fundraising, in sum: anything you can think of. Living on the Edge (LOTE) is a 4 day event in October 2013 where we learn how to build great things together and scale the impact of our projects. Thereâ€™s never been anything like it and you can come, too!
LOTE is a no-spectator event. We keep LOTE free of charge so anyone can afford to attend, and participants are expected to contribute to building a meaningful and generative experience for everyone involved. Everyone can contribute something, whether it is curating a track at the event, facilitating a session, doing fundraising or social media outreach, making a video or helping to coordinate rideshares.
