Science for a Successful Scotland

This introductory science learning and teaching resource aimed at adults has recently been launched and teaches the basics of science relating to five economic growth areas in Scotland: Energy, Tourism, Creative Industries, Life Sciences, and Food and Drink.

The insights in this report give us a richer understanding of how young adults engage with their finances. Free GDPR Guide Published for Charities

Published by the Charity Finance Group, the guide is split into five parts: governance, fundraising data, financial data, beneficiary data and employee data and is aimed at anyone with responsibility for data management within their charity, from trustees, to finance directors, to volunteers. GDPR FAQs for Charities

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect 25 May 2018. To help you comply with your responsibilities, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has produced a package of tools aimed at small and micro organisations, including charities. GDPR Helpline

A new helpline has been set up to help small employers with questions on GDPR.
The Information Commissioners Office (ICO) recognises that small organisations in the UK may face particular difficulties in ensuring compliance with the new data protection law that starts on 25th May 2018. The helpline number is 0303 123 1113 (select option 4).

7 Golden Rules for Participation

Includem has created a Symbols resource that helps children and young people participate. Designed arpund understanding children's rights. The resource explains the 7 Golden Rules for Participation, a set of principles developed by the Commissioner’s office.  The Golden Rules help children and young people tell adults about things that are important to them and are something anyone working with children and young people can use.

"Healthy Eyes" Training Pack
