Gresham College free public lectures and events for March 2013

Events at Gresham College

March is a month of drink and debauchery at Gresham College, with our new Mondays at One series, 'From Gin Lane to the Band of Hope'.

Simon Thurley concludes his thrilling odyssey through the history of English building with a look at contentious post-war architecture, while Juliette Wood traces the story of the Holy Grail.

Christopher Hogwood CBE treats us to two concerts at Christ Church Spitalfields (a must for fans of Debussy, Ravel or Handel) and former Chancellor Lord Denis Healey makes a very rare appearance at our seminar on 'Middle class recruits to Communism in the 1930s.'
