On Breathing, the Cross and Eternal Life (April 2016)

Dear Friend,

Hello! My name is Asher. We do lots of things every day. I like going to my pretend flat and playing outside and climbing the ladder. Sometimes I jump off and roll in the grass.

Me and Eva Joy and Mummy and Miss Helen went to the beach. We digged in the sand and I jumped in the water. We ate lunch and got ice cream!

Mummy and Daddy are sad sometimes. Because they still miss Titus. I miss Titus sometimes, too.

On Sunday one time after church we went to the city centre. It was the Queen's 90th birthday! I got my face painted, and I maked a crown. Mummy shared her candy floss (but in America, I call it cotton candy)! I liked listening to the trombones play.

My name Eva Joy. I play outside. I play upstairs with Asher. I got a butterfly painted on my face. I eat strawberries now! Mummy sewed me new hat!

Last Month's Highlights

May & June Highlights

  • At the end of May we visited some friends near London for a week. It was a lovely relaxing time spent as a family with friends.
  • The Queen had her official birthday celebration in June. Carlisle celebrated by having a street party in the city centre. We had a lovely afternoon out as a family honouring the Queen's 90th birthday!
  • We're slowly beginning to practice hospitality again. A few weeks ago, we hosted a family who were passing through on their way to Edinburgh.
  • We upgrade our helpdesk software and are adding additional IT projects to the system in the coming weeks
  • After much testing of alternative products we decided to stay with ESET as OM's Anti-Virus software. A major snag revolving around upgrading to the latest version has been overcome.
  • A relaunch of is eminent. I (Leon) have been configuring some final pieces on it.
  • Of course, the big news in the UK right now is that Brexit passed! There seems to be a lot of uncertainty surrounding how things will go into the future.
Prayer Points
  • The grief and trauma we went through with Titus is still hard at times. Be praying for us to find our strength and comfort from God.
  • I (Leon) have a handful of small projects I am juggling. Pray that they can move forward quickly.
One day Asher asked if he could use my phone to take a photo of me.  I think he did a fantastic job, and it was nice that he was behind the camera instead!
God Bless,
