Happy Wednesday, Greyhounds!

Can you believe there are only two days until the semester ends? Neither can I. 

To Noah, Taylor, Ethan, Nathan, Brett and Dashanee — our graduating seniors — we're so proud of you all. We wish you lots of love and success for the future!

This is also the last newsletter of the 2020-21 academic year. It's been fun, and we'll see you next year!

An explanation of the COVID-19 Vaccines

As of March 31, those who are 16 or older in the state of Indiana are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to University of Indianapolis Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Public Health Kara Cecil, there are currently three vaccines available for individuals.

Jazz Hands for Jazz Week 

The University of Indianapolis’ Jazz Ensemble celebrated Jazz Appreciation Month by dedicating a week to jazz performances. According to Assistant Professor and Director of Jazz Studies Mark O’Connor, the focus of Jazz Week was to celebrate the art form in as many ways as possible while having as many groups perform throughout.

Football wins conference title, set sights on national championship run for next season


The University of Indianapolis football team defeated Truman State University, 46-29 for the first ever inaugural GLVC Championship game. The game at Key Stadium on April 24 wrapped up the Greyhounds’ shortened and strange season.
