Support for marijuana legalization has dropped to 44% today from 51% in 2013, finds a new poll of 4,500 people conducted by the Public Religion Research Foundation. The poll was funded by the Ford Foundation and the Nathan Cummings Foundation. The decline in support for legalization may indicate people are concerned about news coming out of the legalization states of Colorado and Washington, according to the Washington Post. Colorado voters are turning against marijuana legalization, finds another new poll. Just over half (50.2%) now say they disagree with legalization; support has fallen to 46%. Realm of Caring Announces Charlotte’s Web to be Shipped to All 50 US States, according to Ladybud. Realm of Caring is the Stanley Brothers' nonprofit organization that markets CB oil made from Charlotte’s Web marijuana. Because it contains less than .3% THC, the Colorado brothers believe it will be legal to ship the oil to all parents on their out-of-state waiting list.
Latest Poll Shows Florida Medical Marijuana Initiative Losing, according to a new poll by SurveyUSA/WFLA. Because the ballot initiative would change the Florida constitution, a vote of 60% is required for the measure to pass. The new poll shows support has fallen to 56%, with 31% opposed and 13% undecided. On ballot measures, those undecided usually vote "no."
